Just Believe in a Cottage Garden

Wow!  What a weekend we had here!  Our daughter moved out this weekend and of course we were helping out a lot!  I just finished the last of her laundry today.  The plan being that I would be done forever with her laundry--lol-- that is the plan at least!

Lucky for me Lisa came over Sunday afternoon and we got to work in the studio- the perfect thing to take my mind off the empty room downstairs... :(  Anyway... I took the sketch from Taylored Expressions, the colors from Just Us Girls and the Butterflies from Crafty Creations!  As if that is not enough to cram on one card, I decided to take All Sorts up on their challenge to create a card 3" or less! 
I made three so we can put them in a little box and send it off as a thank you for someone special!

The stamp set, Just Believe, made this look so easy to pull off!  I colored the stamp with markers and stamped the image on glossy white card stock, before trimming it out with paper snips and popping it on my mini card with dimensionals.  The butterflies (from the Cottage Garden set) are markered and then stamped on whisper white cs-this way they stand out against the glossy cs very well.  Those scallop circles came from two different sources-  The biggest is from our XL Scallop circle punch, the medium and small are from the Baskets and Blooms Bigz XL die.  I finished the sketch out with three tiny half pearls from the new Jewels accessories!  To make sure that no surface was left untouched I ran the background glossy cs through the big shot with the finial press embossing folder- Girls, I just love those things- how on earth did we live without them?

Well, I managed to pack a lot of action onto these little cards, what a fun challenge that turned out to be!  Hope your week is treating you fabulously!
