Here is a pretty little basket that makes up in a snap! I decorated it using the stamp set Petal Pizzazz- so springlike. Since it is raining out to...what? You are wondering about the orange color used in this project? That would be Tangerine Tango! Stampin' Up! had a BIG announcement yesterday! We are going to have a Color Renovation this July! Yay! There is a lot changing, so pull up a chair and have a look-see!
Starting with the New 2010/2011 Catalog on July 1st, there will be a whole new way of looking at color! Yes, we are losing some colors, but we are gaining a few as well. There is a fabulous balance of old favorites and returning In Colors from previous years. In order to stay on top of changing color trends, SU! is going to be having 5 New In Colors every year- but now they will be with us for two years! As well as new colors there is a new method to organizing them! When I first read about it, I admit, I got a little cranky, but the more I read and looked at the new line up, the more sense it made! So keep an open mind and get ready to play! There are some incredible color combos that can be created now! I cannot wait to have all the new colors to play with in July- Hopefully my family will understand when I don't come out of the studio for a few days straight! I have a list following for the colors that are leaving- It might be time to have a Bon Voyage Party for the ones you will really miss, and you have almost three months to stock up on the ones you just can't bear to say good-bye to!
Without further ado...
So... Here's my take on how the new Color Collections break down:
This brings us to the colors that are being retired. After an incredible amount of research, input from focus groups (customers and demonstrators) plus sales figures,
these are the colors that will be leaving us:
I admit, there are a few here that I am going to miss! Leave a comment with your favorite retiring color and we will have a drawing next Thursday for some blog candy!

Very Cute Easter Egg basket or are you early for a May Day basket? I love the bright colors and the flowers.
One of my favorite colors leaving is Summer Sun, but I think the Daffodil Delight will do just fine.

Pink Passion is a favorite but there are other great options. What concerns me is the only near light purple/lavender is Perfect Plum ~ the rest are history! Love your blog and creativity!
