Not too bad eh? I adore this stamp set- it is one I will never part with that's for sure! You might be noticing all the "pieces" of the card- well, I found the template for the card over at Sweet As A Gumdrop- (this girl has some super ideas!) and I have to tell you that the card opens up and stands on its own! The best part is that it folds up and fits in a standard envelop, no extra postage required.
Which one of you would like to get a card like this to display? I know I would- this one is going to be on display in the craft room for a while! I stamped all my images on glossy white and then used markers and a blender pen to color them in. The glossy surface gives you plenty of time to blend and shade your colors. I also snuck a flower from the pretties kit onto the card up top- with a half pearl as the center that bee finds so fascinating! The color combo comes from the Play Date Cafe. They have a gorgeous picture of a cut lemon up for inspiration- that combined with the sunshine outside has got me thinking of a tall cool pitcher of home made lemonade! The only other thing to note is the pot of flowers- I cut out just the top portion of the flowers before adhering the glossy cs to the barely banana piece, I think it really draws the eye to the center point.
Have a fun filled weekend y'all!Keep On Inking!
